Rajasthan Gets Second Vande Bharat: On Friday, July 7th, the second Vande Bharat train from Rajasthan commenced its journey as Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the train at 4:46 pm from Gorakhpur.
Departing from Jodhpur Junction and headed towards Sabarmati, this train holds a special distinction as the shortest Vande Bharat train in the country, with only 8 coaches as compared to the usual 16 coaches.
During the virtual address, PM Modi highlighted the transformative impact of the Vande Bharat train on the middle class of India, providing them with enhanced facilities and conveniences.
He remarked on the significant shift in dynamics, as politicians once used to write letters to secure a train stoppage in their area, whereas now people are eager to write letters requesting the introduction of Vande Bharat trains in their region.
