The case involving an attack on hotel staff in Ajmer, Rajasthan has garnered widespread attention as it went viral.
Following the release of the CCTV footage pertaining to this incident, IAS officer Girdhar and IPS officer Sushil Kumar Bishnoi, who are presently under suspension, may face detention.
ADG (Vigilance) Biju George Joseph has been assigned by DGP Umesh Mishra to investigate the case thoroughly.

Sushil Kumar Bishnoi, who was serving as the Additional SP City Ajmer, was bid farewell with a party in the city on the night of June 10.
Following the conclusion of the event, on June 11 at 2 am, he went to a hotel to have dinner with his friends, which eventually led to a controversy.
During the incident, hotel staff members were subjected to assault, after which the matter was reported to the Gegal police station.
Subsequently, at around 2:30 am, IPS Sushil Kumar, along with ASI Ruparam and a group of policemen, arrived at the hotel and engaged in a physical altercation with the hotel staff.
The altercation persisted until approximately 2:45 am, following which the police staff left the premises of the hotel.
The complaint of this was given to the Gegal police at 3 o'clock in the night. A case was registered by the police against unknown people in the matter.
According to the allegations made by hotel owner Mahendra Singh, Sushil Bishnoi, accompanied by 4-5 friends, arrived at the hotel in a private vehicle.
Upon seeing an employee sitting outside the hotel, Sushil Bishnoi inquired about the employee's presence, to which the employee responded, "I am a member of the hotel staff and I am about to rest." Following this, IPS Sushil Bishnoi allegedly slapped the employee.
Girdhar Beniwal hails from Isar Navra village in Kheenvsar, Nagaur. He secured the 61st rank in the 2019 IAS examination and the 413th rank in the 2016 RAS examination.
He was serving as the Commissioner of Ajmer Development Authority before this incident.
Sushil Bishnoi, a resident of Rampura in Bikaner, had previously worked as an agricultural scientist in Almora, Uttarakhand before joining the Indian Police Service (IPS).
He cleared the UPSC examination in 2019 and was recently transferred to the position of Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the newly established district of Gangapur City.
Previously, he served as the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Ajmer City.
Sushil Bishnoi has been accused of rape twice after his selection in UPSC in 2018.
