In Nagaur, a 16-year-old has been detained for allegedly strangling his 12-year-old cousin to 'PubG' and 'Free Fire' addiction. The minor accused buried the dead body of the innocent in the ground after killing. After this, the 16-year-old boy messaged his uncle sitting in Assam with a fake Instagram ID that he wants a ransom of Rs 5 lakh.
It has come to the fore in the case that the minor accused, after this killing, very cleverly took out the SIM from the mobile phone of the deceased innocent and threw it out. Stole his own elder brother's mobile and went to e-friend and got his report written. After this, the internet was started in the mobile of the deceased innocent from the same mobile's Wi-Fi hotspot. Created a fake ID on Instagram and kept bargaining for a ransom of 5 lakhs for 4 days from the uncle sitting in Assam.

Uncle sitting in Assam shared information about the kidnapping of innocent Praveen and demanding ransom from Instagram ID with the police. SHO Rajendra Commando told the uncle to keep puzzled the kidnapper continuously in chats and ask for the evidence about the innocent being in his possession before giving any money. When Uncle asked for evidence, the accused minor sent the photo of Praveen’s mobile phone’s back cover and slippers.
According to the police, the next evidence the uncle asked was to send the photo of Praveen’s face on Instagram. On this, the accused went to the spot and took out Praveen’s dead body buried in the ground and after clearing the face, he sent the photo of the blank face of the 12-year-old boy. After the photo, the uncle was convinced that Praveen was kidnapped. Not only this, but the accused had also given a discount to uncle and asked him to give Rs 4 lakh instead of 5 lakhs.
The minor accused also said in the interrogation that after the disappearance of the innocent Praveen, his family members went to many Babas, Maharajs and Mullahs in search of Praveen. The minor accused was also going along with the family in search. Minor accused was also afraid that Babas, Maharaj, and Mullahs can point him out but nothing like that happened.
Here, the investigation of the police was running parallel, and after some search, it came to light that the IP address of the Instagram ID from which the ransom was being demanded was that of the missing mobile along with the innocent and the location was coming from its village itself. After this, when the matter was investigated deeply, the 16-year-old boy was suspected and after the inquiry, he was found to be the accused.
