A stampede occurred during a Satsang in Ratibhanpur, Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, resulting in the death of 50 to 60 people, with bodies piling up outside the hospital.

Many women and children were also injured in the incident. Taking cognizance of the situation, the Chief Minister's office instructed the district administration to promptly transport the injured to the hospital for treatment and to expedite relief operations at the site.

CM Has Ordered An Investigation Into The Incident

Taking note of the incident, the Chief Minister's Office has directed district administration officials to immediately transport the injured to hospitals for appropriate treatment and to expedite relief efforts at the site.

He has instructed ADG Agra and the Commissioner of Aligarh to lead an investigation into the causes of the incident. Following CM Yogi's instructions, two senior ministers, the Chief Secretary, and the DGP have also left for the incident site.

The District Magistrate of Hathras reported that many people are feared dead due to the stampede during the religious event.

Meanwhile, the Community Health Center (CHC) stated that the death toll has risen to 50-60 and may increase further.

Administration Negligence Exposed

Several thousand people were present at this event. The administration's negligence is coming to light considering such a large gathering.

The administration had not made adequate preparations for this event. Due to the uncontrolled crowd and suffocation, many people had to risk their lives.
