The version of Yogi government 2.0 has started in UP. On Saturday, CM Yogi Adityanath held the first cabinet meeting at Lok Bhawan. In this meeting, many important decisions were taken for the people of UP. After the meeting, the Chief Minister held a press conference in which Yogi Adityanath told that for the benefit of 15 crore people of the state, he has decided to extend the free ration scheme for 3 months i.e. June 2022. Yogi said that this decision is dedicated to the public.
State Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said that the government is dedicated to serving the poor people. Under this scheme, 15 crores Antyodaya cardholders will now be given free ration in the state till April-May-June. Along with ration, the government was also distributing packets of pulses, salt and sugar to the people. In such a situation, if the scheme is extended for three months, people will continue to get this benefit for the next three months.
UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took the meeting of the Council of Ministers for the first time on Saturday after taking the oath. Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Chief Secretary and other officers along with Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak were present in this meeting.
Yogi Adityanath took oath as CM for the second time in UP on Friday. Today i.e. on Saturday, BJP MLA Ramapati Shastri has been made the Protem Speaker of the UP Assembly. UP Governor Anandiben Patel administered the oath of Protem Speaker of UP Legislative Assembly to Ramapati Shastri at Raj Bhawan in Lucknow.
