West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee met with an accident in Bardhaman. In the incident, CM Mamata Banerjee sustained a head injury. It is reported that the injury is not severe.
According to the information received, a car suddenly entered the Chief Minister's convoy. Due to the sudden intrusion of the car into the convoy, the driver had to apply emergency brakes.
This resulted in Mamata Banerjee getting injured. It is being said that the injury is minor.
Sources have revealed that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was returning to Kolkata via the road route from Bardhaman.
During this journey, another car suddenly appeared in front of the CM's convoy, prompting her car's driver to immediately apply the brakes.
Due to adverse weather conditions, she did not return via helicopter.
A senior official revealed that Mamata Banerjee was seated in the front passenger seat beside the driver, and her head collided with the windshield.
It was stated that the Chief Minister is being transported to Kolkata, where doctors will provide her with medical care. She was in East Bardhaman for chairing an administrative review meeting. Fortunately, Mamata Banerjee has not suffered any serious injuries.
It is notable that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today clarified that her party (TMC) will contest elections in the state independently.
Mamata has made it clear that her party has no alliance with the Congress. Today, Mamata announced that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) will contest on its own strength on all 42 Lok Sabha seats in Bengal.
