Aam Aadmi Party's National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal reached Amritsar Airport on Tuesday afternoon on his 2-day Punjab tour. During this, party MP Bhagwant Mann and the party's national spokesperson Raghav Chadha and other leaders were seen with him. At the airport, he did not talk to the media and left in the car.
He will bow down late in the evening at Devi Talab Mandir, Jalandhar. After this, he will also participate in the Jagran to be held here at night. On Wednesday, he will go to Gurdaspur and share grief with the family of Sewa Singh Sekhwan. Party spokesperson Raghav Chadha said that Devi Talab Temple is famous in the world. Kejriwal will worship Mata Rani here at 6 pm to seek her blessings. Devi Talab Temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. Whoever asked for Ardas here, he has got it. Arvind Kejriwal will offer prayers for brotherhood, love, and happiness in Punjab.
Ahead of Arvind Kejriwal's arrival in Punjab, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has been taunted by Badal. SAD has posted a cartoon of Kejriwal on social media. It is written in this that if there is a power cut of 8 to 10 hours in Delhi, then how will you provide electricity for 24 hours in Punjab. SAD has posted a cartoon of Arvind Kejriwal taking the air with a broom in his hand.
This is when there is a power crisis in the entire country and Arvind Kejriwal has been claiming that whatever happens, there cannot be a power crisis in Delhi. Not only this, he has given the first guarantee of 24 hours and cheap electricity supply to the residents of Punjab like Delhi. This taunt on the part of SAD is also important because Arvind Kejriwal is now engaged in cultivating Hindu votes behind SAD.
Sukhbir Singh Badal has been trying to win over the Hindu vote bank for some time now. He has bowed down in many Hindu temples of Ludhiana and has also bowed his head in the court of Mother Chintpurni. He had also visited Devi Talab Mandir a few days back. Now that Arvind Kejriwal is coming, he will not only be resting his head in the Devi Talab temple but will also take part in Jagran. Almost all the political parties are showing their inclination towards the Hindu vote bank after the rural vote bank going hand in hand and Sukhbir Singh Badal is also facing opposition on this.
Seva Singh Sekhwan, who broke away from Shiromani Akali Dal Badal, had joined the Aam Aadmi Party sometime back. He died on 7 October. He had joined the Aam Aadmi Party in August itself and died after that. According to Aam Aadmi Party sources, he is also scheduled to visit Sekhwan's ancestral home in Gurdaspur and this has not been announced yet. Raghav Chadha has also said that he has no political program. If so, it will be informed immediately.
