On Friday, the fight in the Congress over the post of Chief Minister was seen again during the speech of Ashok Gehlot. He had come to Lakhasar in Bikaner to campaign with the administration communities.
He was talking about his three-year tenure in the meeting. Suddenly someone from the crowd said that you will become the CM for the fourth time. On this, he stated that it is unclear who will become Chief Minister for the fourth time. But Congress should be formed for the fourth time as well.
During this meeting, he also attacked the Central government. Gehlot said that a plan to change the government in Rajasthan was developed in the Ministry of Home Affairs. Rajasthan's MLAs responded appropriately.
Gehlot said at the beginning of his speech that the public has given him a third chance. Do they know what the responsibility is? Before Gehlot would complete his point, someone said loudly that you will be the only one for the fourth time. To this Gehlot replied that it's not funny if the government changes all the time. When the government changes, the plans come to a pause. We want the government to return to Congress so that we can resume working on the schemes.
On October 2, CM Gehlot made an announcement during the campaign's inaugural programme with government centres. He stated that only Shanti Dhariwal will be appointed as Minister of Autonomous Governance. After this, a statement was heard from Ashok Gehlot becoming CM for the fourth time. In Lakhasar, Bikaner Gehlot took a U-turn regarding the post of CM. However, now he has requested to form the government first.
He stated that the conspiracies to replace the government of Rajasthan happened in the Home Ministry. Ministers do their own planning to switch the government. Gehlot said that even after all these efforts, the MLAs of Rajasthan have given answered appropriately.
