A statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs of India said – India is currently the chairman of BRICS countries. Its foreign ministers will meet today. During this time mutual relations and international affairs will also be discussed.
The meeting will also be attended by Brazilian Foreign Minister Carlos Alberto Franco, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, and South Africa's Foreign Minister Grace Naledi Mandisa.
According to the statement – It is believed that during this meeting, the situation created due to Covid-19 will be discussed. In this era, it has become a big challenge for every country. We have to accept the truth and plan our strategy accordingly. We face many challenges at the regional and international levels. Many issues have to be looked at in terms of development as well.
