For the first time in Chandigarh, elections will be held on 35 wards. Earlier there were 26 wards. For this, 6 lakh 30 thousand voters will choose councilors for themselves. Of these, there are about 3.5 lakh male and 2.99 lakh female voters. There are also 17 third-gender voters in this.
