Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has made changes in the state cabinet. Under this alteration, he has removed three more members of the Goa Forward Party from his Cabinet.

Gourish S Kurtikar, Joint Secretary of Goa Administration Department (GAD): Governor accepts the recommendation of the CM that Vijayai Sardesai, Rohan Khaunte, Vinoda Paliencar & Jayesh Salgaonkar shall be the members of the Council of Ministers, with immediate effect.

Among the four ministers who have been removed as per the notification issued, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sardesai, Water Resources Minister Vinod Palyekar, Rural Development Minister Jayesh Salgaonkar and Revenue Minister Rohan Khanti have been removed from the Cabinet.

Michael Lobo, who resigned as the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly in place of him, and three of the 10 MLAs who left the Congress on Wednesday will be included in the cabinet. Apart from Michael Lobo, Chandrakant Kawalakar, Jennifer Montserrat and Philip Neri Rodrigues will be part of the new cabinet.

Jennifer Monserratte, the MLA from Talegaon, is the wife of Panaji MLA Atanascio Monasserratte. Earlier there was speculation that he would be included in the cabinet. It is being told that Atanasio had refused to take the post of minister and had requested the Chief Minister to make his wife a part of the Cabinet.
