Earthquake Tremors in Jammu Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh

Earthquake tremors were felt in Ladakh a while back. Its intensity on the Richter scale was 4.5. It is being said that the epicenter of the earthquake was 119 kilometers north-west of Kargil. At present, there is no news of the loss of life or property. This earthquake occurred at 1.11 pm. Earthquake tremors have been felt in Ladakh for the second time in the last week. On June 26, there was a 4.5 magnitude earthquake.

But National Center for Seismology director BK Bansal said that there is no need to panic from these earthquakes. But preparations and steps to reduce the risk of earthquakes are necessary.
