After the political storm that subsided in Punjab and Chhattisgarh Congress, the party is now engaged in cultivating the rebel leaders in Rajasthan. According to sources, soon the government can be reconstituted afresh in Rajasthan by taking the resignation of the entire cabinet. If all goes well, a big reshuffle can be seen in the Gehlot cabinet this week.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given clear indications for the first time. In the swearing-in ceremony of the Secretariat Employees Union, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has expressed the possibility of the swearing-in ceremony soon. Gehlot said- Today the omen of this relaxed swearing-in ceremony will be so great that there is a reorganization of the cabinet of our government, that too will happen soon.
Gehlot further said- It seems that because of you the work of the new cabinet was stalled. Had you got it done earlier, our cabinet would have already been reconstituted. You can guess how I consider the omen of your Secretariat Employees Union. You will understand this. I am grateful to you for this. I hope there will be no more delay. Soon our swearing-in ceremony will be over.
After meeting Sonia Gandhi on November 11, Gehlot had said in Delhi that the cabinet would expand if the high command wanted it. Have some patience. During the Delhi tour, CM of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot had a long consultation with Priyanka Gandhi, in-charge KC Venugopal, in-charge Ajay Maken at Rahul Gandhi's residence on November 10.
It is clear from Gehlot's statement that the Congress high command has approved the formation of a fresh cabinet. Gehlot has said that the swearing-in ceremony will be held soon only after the approval of the high command. Discussions were going on regarding the model of expansion, reshuffle, and fresh formation of the cabinet. Now Gehlot has made it clear by saying about the reorganization that there will be a fresh formation.
Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasara, Revenue Minister Harish Chaudhary, and Health minister Raghu Sharma are set to be removed from the post of a minister under the 'one person one post'. Raghu Sharma is in charge of Gujarat and Harish Chaudhary is in charge of Punjab. So the CM has given indications on Tuesday itself that Dotasara should be removed from the post of minister.
