JAIPUR: Ashok Gehlot Government of Rajasthan is now taking steps towards reducing the burden of heavy bags of school children. It will start from Wednesday as a pilot project in all upper primary school in 33 districts of the state. In order to relieve children from the burden of heavy settlements, a special syllabus has been designed in selected schools. It would require very less number of books to be taken to school.

The project was launched by Minister of State for Education Govind Singh Dotasara at the Government Higher Secondary School, Vatika in Jaipur district. Dotasara said that the government is preparing an action plan for how school children should get quality education. The government wants that children should be provided with the best education while reducing the burden of settlements. Just by increasing the number of books, nothing will happen, good education will enhance the future of children.

It is worth mentioning that in the name of modern education, children are forced to bear the heavy burden of books. The first class child usually weighs two to three kilos in his school bag. Along with this, other stuff also happens. When lifting these bags of young children on the shoulders, many of them bow down to the waist. This is not the pain of the children of one school but more or less of every child. Parents are not able to do anything by in it. In such a situation, the state government has nowwanting  taken the initiative and has prepared a plan to reduce the burden of children's settlements.
