Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind filed a review petition in the Supreme Court on Monday in the Ram Janmabhoomi dispute case of Ayodhya. At the same time, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board has also said to file a review petition. Board member Zafaryab Jilani said, 'We will also file a review petition but not today. The petition is drafted and will be filed before the court any day before 9 December'.
On November 17, Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind had said that they would use their constitutional rights to review the court's decision. Maulana Ashad Rashidi, General Secretary, Jamiat in Uttar Pradesh, one of the ten petitioners in the case, has come forward to file a reconsideration petition. He says that the first part and the second part of the court's decision in the case are contradictory to each other. According to him, the court agreed that the mosque here was not built by breaking the temple and the 1992 mosque dispute was illegal. Then why did the court gave this land to the other party.
Maulana Vali Rahmani of the Muslim Personal Law Board says that the Muslim community has faith in the law and that is why a reconsideration petition is being filed. Earlier, the Sunni Waqf Board had decided not to file a review petition regarding the court's decision in the case. The Waqf Board made this decision in a meeting. A total of eight people attended, of which six were in favor of not filing a review petition.
According to the Supreme Court's decision, the disputed land of Ayodhya was handed over to Ramlala Virajaman. Now the Ram temple will be built on it. At the same time, the State Government was ordered to give 5 acres of land to the Muslim side. The order also calls for the trust to be made for the construction of the temple. There is also an order to include Nirmohi Akhara in this trust.
