In Jharkhand, the case of trying to destabilize the Hemant government once again has come to the fore. After failing in horse-trading of Congress MLAs, now Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) MLAs are being targeted. In this regard, the MLA of Ghatshila of JMM Ramdas Soren has lodged an FIR at Dhurva police station in Ranchi.
Making serious allegations, he has said- 'Former JMM treasurer Ravi Kejriwal and Ashok Agarwal are conspiring to topple the Hemant government by luring money. Kejriwal and Ashok came to our residence. Both named other JMM MLAs and tempted them to leave the party. Said that he would form the government with BJP by forming a new party. Ramdas alleges that even before this incident, Ravi Kejriwal had contacted him on mobile two-three times.
MLA Ramdas Soren alleges- 'Ravi Kejriwal also tempted you that you would be given a ministerial post along with money. Also said that how much money you will take to topple Hemant Soren's government, tell me. In the FIR lodged, it is alleged that Ravi Kejriwal and Ashok Agarwal are conspiring to topple Hemant Soren's government and are giving various kinds of inducements to him and other MLAs of his party.
Ravi Kejriwal had given him a financial inducement to leave the party. This information has been given to Chief Minister Hemant Soren. When Dainik Bhaskar asked Ramdas that how much money was offered to you by Ravi Kejriwal, on this he said- 'Why tell this thing to you. The party has been informed about this.
In this matter, Supriyo Bhattacharya, general secretary of JMM said- 'It is not known about this. So can't say anything. Whereas, party's central spokesperson Bablu Pandey says- 'It is a matter of investigation. The police are doing their job in this matter.
Ghatshila MLA has lodged an FIR at Dhurva police station on October 12. Both have been booked under sections 124A, 171E, 120D, 34 of the IPC, sections 8 and 9 of the Prevention of Corruption Act 1988. The responsibility of investigating the matter has been given to Hatia SP Vineet Kumar.
Earlier on July 22, Bermo MLA Jaimangal Singh alias Anoop Singh had lodged an FIR in the Kotwali police station in connection with the conspiracy to topple the JMM-Congress-RJD coalition government. After this, Ranchi Police conducted raids in this case. Ranchi Police had arrested three accused.
Police had seized two lakh rupees
The arrested accused included Brajesh Kumar Dubey, a resident of Hussainabad Palamu, Amit Singh, a resident of Sector-2 Bokaro, and Nivaran Prasad Mahto, a resident of Sector 12, Bokaro. Police had seized two lakh rupees and mobile phones from them. According to the police, the three were arrested from a hotel in Ranchi, Lee Lake.
