The Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) responsible for the Mumbai attacks has become active once again. After the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan, the spirit of this terrorist organization is high. According to the news agency, Lashkar has recently prepared new terrorist camps in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Hundreds of terrorists are being trained in these. It is believed that Lashkar is also getting help from the Haqqani network and the Islamic State of Khorasan (ISIS-K) in this work.

Recruitment of new terrorists

The news agency quoted the Daily Sikh website as reporting on the growing threat from Lashkar. Accordingly, Lashkar has set up several new terror camps in parts of Afghanistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan. It is believed that terrorist organizations such as Haqqani Network and ISIS-K are helping him. It was Lashkar who carried out the 2008 Mumbai attacks, in which 160 people were killed. Some foreign nationals were also among those killed. After this, the pressure on Pakistan to act on this terrorist organization and its leader Hafiz Saeed had increased. Hafiz Saeed is currently under house arrest by the Government of Pakistan.

According to the report, there is every possibility that Lashkar-e-Taiba helped the Afghan Taliban in the fight for the occupation of Afghanistan. During this time his closeness to the Haqqani network also increased. However, it is not clear how the relations between the Pakistan Taliban and Lashkar are with each other, as the Pakistan Taliban carry out attacks in Pakistan demanding Sharia law. According to the report, Lashkar is dependent on madrasas on the Pakistan-Afghan border for recruitment in its group. The recruited fighters are later sent to training camps in the Kunar and Nangarhar provinces of Afghanistan.

Dust in the eyes of the world

After the Mumbai attacks, there was tremendous pressure on the Pakistan government to take strict action against Lashkar-e-Taiba. Some action was also taken to show off, but it did not show any result. The reason for this is that Lashkar is in collaboration with the Government of Pakistan, the army, and the infamous intelligence agency ISI.

Even a few days ago, a report claimed that after the Taliban's occupation of Afghanistan, some terrorist organizations are reuniting there. However, the Taliban regime has repeatedly claimed that Afghanistan's land cannot be used for attacks on any other country.
