Controversy has increased after the BJP's dent in the Congress camp in the election of Jaipur district chief. Outside the Jaipur Zilla Parishad, Congress workers created a ruckus twice, while going after voting, the bus of BJP members was surrounded by Congress workers. Surrounding the bus and throwing punches at it, the police chased the Congress workers by lathi charge.
Earlier, when the bus of BJP members came for voting, even then outside the Zilla Parishad, there was a situation of scuffle and uproar between Congress and BJP workers. Congress workers got agitated on seeing Congress Zilla Parishad member Jackie Tatiwal from the bus of BJP Zilla Parishad members. The police intervened and pacified the workers. Congress workers were annoyed by the departure of Congress member Jackie along with Rama Devi.
In the capital Jaipur, the BJP made a dent in the Congress camp. BJP nominated Congress's Zilla Parishad member Rama Devi Chopra as its candidate. A member of Congress also went with Rama Devi. After which the Congress did not have a majority. Congress nominated Saroj Devi Bagra as its candidate. Bharatpur (General), Sawai Madhopur (General), Sirohi (General), Jaipur (General Female), Jodhpur (General Female), and Dausa (OBC).
Out of 29 wards of the Dausa district council, Congress has 17 seats, BJP 8, 3 independents, and 1 BSP. The Congress has a majority in Sawai Madhopur, winning 16 out of 25 wards, BJP on 8 and Independents in 1. In Sirohi, out of 21 wards, BJP has won 17 and Congress has won 4 wards. In Jaipur, out of 51 wards, Congress has members on 27 and BJP on 24. Of the 37 wards in Bharatpur, BJP has 17 members, 14 Congress, and 2 BSP members.
Like the process of election of district head and head, the process of election of deputy district head and deputy's head will be done. The election of the deputy district chief and deputy's head will be held on September 7. The winning Panchayat Samiti members and Zilla Parishad members will vote in the election of the Deputy District President and Up-Pradhan.
