The court told Yechury, "We allow you to go there, but if you miss any activity other than meeting your colleague, then it will be considered a violation of our order." On this, Yechury's lawyer Raju Ramachandran said, "We will follow the instructions fully and will also give an affidavit in this regard." Yechury later told the media, after I return from there, this case will go ahead again. We will do whatever is necessary in the tour.

Yechury will visit Kashmir on Thursday and will meet his party colleague and former MLA Mohammad Yusuf Tarigami and get to know his health. Tarigami is currently under house arrest since Article 370 was removed. He said, after returning from Kashmir, I will give an affidavit in the Supreme Court. The petition was given by the CPI (M) leader under Article 32, which states that a person has the right to go anywhere and it comes under fundamental rights.
