Rupee opened 27 paise stronger

The Indian rupee opened today with a strength of 27 paise against the dollar. The rupee today started at Rs 73.98 per dollar and closed at 74.25 yesterday.

Bank Nifty saw a huge decline yesterday but today the change in Bank Nifty was not seen in the pre-open trading session, which was a good sign that at least it did not show a decline.
