Trees will be Planted in Delhi’s Park in Memory of Sheila Dikshi

In the memory of former Delhi Chief Minister and late Congress leader Sheela Dikshit, trees will be planted in bigger parks of the capital.

In the memory of former Delhi Chief Minister and late Congress leader Sheela Dikshit, trees will be planted in bigger parks of the capital. This decision was taken by the relatives of Sheila Dikshit. Families say that with the RWA, trees will grow in all the big parks of Delhi. So that the remains of the departed Sheila should be remembered.

At the corporation Bodh Ghat, on Monday morning, Shiela Dixit's Son Sandeep Dikshit and Daughter Latika joined the event to choose 'flower'. The flowers of Sheela Dikshit will be flown in Prayagraj, Gangotri and Hemkund Sahib.

Former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit passed away on Saturday. His funeral was done on Sunday with the state honor. A large number of people present on the corporation of Bodh Ghat of Delhi gave their last farewell with damp eyes. To give the final farewell to Sheila Dikshit, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah and many big leaders were present at Corporation Bodh Ghat.

Delhi's Lt Governor Anil Baijal and CM Arvind Kejriwal and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath, who reached the cremation ground, gave their last farewell to their beloved leader. The slogans of Sheela Dikshit immersed on Shamshan Ghat were planted during the last sanskrit.

UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi on Sunday expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Sheila Dikshit. Talking to Sheila as her elder sister and friend, Sonia said that her loss will always be in the party. He said that going to Sheila Dikshit from this world is a big loss for the Congress. He will always be remembered by us.

After the death of Sheila Dikshit, the Delhi BJP had announced the suspension of all its public events scheduled on Saturday and Sunday. BJP leaders also mourned the death of Sheila. Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta said that due to the demise of Sheila Dikshit, we have suffered a lot. We may have had ideological differences, but his contributions in the development of Delhi are unforgettable.
