Now, former fast bowler of Pakistan cricket team Waqar Younis has told the reason why Pakistan gets defeated by India every time in World Cup match.
Waqar Younis said that he was not part of the Pakistan team due to injury in the 1992 World Cup, which he regretted. However, that year Pakistan won the World Cup despite a loss to India. At the same time, in the next World Cup, 1996, Pakistan lost to India in the quarter-finals. At the same time in 1999, Waqar was not the part of the team and India won. He was then the captain of the Pakistan team in 2003, but Pakistan lost that time too. This trend continued again in the 2011, 2015 and 2019 ODI World Cups.
Waqar said that we have done well in ODIs and Tests against India, but when it comes to One-Day World Cup, India has always been on top and they were really capable of it.
