Churu: A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Sadulpur police station area of the district. Here, a case of trying to kill a nine-year-old child on Monday night has come to light. The accused crossed the limits of cruelty and beaten her down under bricks and stones. Thankfully, it was discovered in time and the victim was saved. The police have registered a case against the accused under the sections of rape and POCSO Act.
According to the police, the victim studies in third grade. According to the information, the nine-year-old child went to the shop in Sadulpur town on Monday night to get the toffee. During this time, taking advantage of the darkness at night, the accused kidnapped her and took her to a ruin. It is alleged that he raped her there. Later, with the intention of killing her, he throws bricks on her head. Assuming the victim was dead, he escaped after pressing her under bricks and stones.
When the family members of the victim and the people of the locality reached Khondar, looking for the girl, they heard the sound of sobbing there. On this, people removed the child from under the bricks and stones. She was found in a badly injured and bruised state. Her head and arm were hurt. The victim was immediately admitted to a private hospital. The incident could be traced after the girl came to her senses. The police, who arrived on the spot, arrested the accused Akram Kazi from ward number-22 of the town.
The child was admitted to the State Referral Hospital. After first aid from there, she was referred to the Government Bhartia Hospital in Churu. Medical test of the child has been done. According to the police, there is injury and swelling on the private part of the girl. The FSL team has gathered evidence by reaching a chance. Taking the matter seriously, Superintendent of Police Tejaswani Gautam has ordered daily action in this matter.
