On Saturday morning, an encounter took place between the Crime Branch and criminals of Delhi Police in Karol Bagh area. In this encounter, a crook was shot, which was later arrested. According to the police, the accused caught is the declared crook of Osmanpur police station and the police was looking for him in many cases. A senior police officer said that last night, his team had received information that the accused will be coming in karol bagh. After this, the police team laid siege to the accused at the said place and gave him a chance to surrender. But the accused started firing on the police team. In response, the police team also fired in which the accused got injured. Police have admitted the injured miscreant to a nearby hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

Significantly, a similar encounter took place between the police and the miscreants in Delhi's posh colony on Friday morning. In this encounter, many rounds were fired from both sides. In the firing by the police,  Crook Iqbal was shot in the leg, which was later arrested. The incident was of Amar Colony in South Delhi. The crime branch and special branch of Delhi Police did this whole operation together. Police had received information that Iqbal was about to arrive in the area along with some of his close people. After this, the special team under the supervision of Special Branch Inspector Rajendra Pahalwan started the siege of the said place and asked the miscreants to surrender but the miscreants started firing on the police team. In response, firing was done on behalf of the police too.
