Country's legendary automaker company Maruti Suzuki India has recalled more than 60 thousand cars from the market. According to information given by Maruti, the company has recalled 63, 493 units of Ciaz, Ertiga and XL6 in view of safety.

According to Maruti, the company has taken this decision due to a malfunction in the motor generator unit. Maruti will now examine the models of these cars. There will be no charge from customers for this. The company has recalled cars made from January 1, 2019 to November 21, 2019. The global campaign to recall cars is starting from December 6, 2019. In the midst of this news, Maruti's stock has fallen by nearly 2 percent. In the last hours of trading on Friday, Maruti's share price fell 1.79% to Rs. 6880.

Recently, Maruti Suzuki has announced to increase the prices of its cars from January 2020. Recently, the company said that in the last one year, prices are being raised due to rising cost of raw materials. However, the company has not yet disclosed how much the price will increase.

At the same time, the company has also set a record of selling more than 2 crore cars in the Indian market. Maruti has achieved this milestone in 36 years. In India, the company launched its first car on 14 December 1983. This car was the company's most talked about Maruti 800.

Hyundai Recalled 16,409 Wars

In November, Hyundai recalled 16,409 of its cars due to a defect in the CNG filter assembly. The company then stated that a total of 16,409 CNG models of Grand i10 and Xcent are being recalled. These cars of Hyundai are made between 1 August 2017 to 30 September 2019 and all these cars have factory fitted CNG kit.
