There was a lot of ruckus in Pakistan over the fake pilot's license and now Pakistan International Airlines has to bear the brunt of this as the European Union Aviation Safety Agency has banned the PIA from flying in Europe for the next 6 months.
The EASA has taken this decision due to fake licenses of pilots, security reasons. Apart from Europe, the UAE has also taken strict action in this matter and asked for the correct information of Pakistani pilots, only then will be allowed to enter here.
Let us tell you that a plane crash took place in Pakistan in the past, in which a PIA aircraft entered the residential area and it was later discovered that the pilot had a huge lapse in this, as he and his companions were discussing the coronavirus and could not concentrate on the landing because of which nearly a hundred people died in this accident.
After this accident, investigations in Pakistan have revealed that more than half of the pilots' licenses are fake there, whereas, nearly 300 out of 860 pilots have been caught in this case and they have been identified. For this reason, international agencies are being cautious about Pakistan's flight.
A statement from Pakistan International Airlines has also come on this decision. It has been said that due to coronavirus, we were not flying in Europe anyway. But we hoped that after the situation improves, air service will be started in some areas. So far, the PIA has banned more than 150 pilots from flying.
