Two people were shot dead on Friday night near Shaheed Ram Prasad Bismil Park in the posh area located in Sadar Bazar. This caused panic in the area. The reason for the incident was unclear.
There are several cases registered on one of the deceased, who came out of jail on bail 15 days earlier. One person has also been injured in the firing. Police have arrested a person with a gun.
At around 10 o'clock in the night, the area of Bislim Park suddenly got swept away by gunshot wounds. Nobody could understand anything. The shopkeepers closed the shops and ran away. Three people were injured on the road due to the bullets falling during this period. The police arrived at the spot and sent the three to the district hospital.
Two people were declared dead here. At around 11 o'clock in the night, they were identified as Gyanadev's son of Radheram (35), resident of Jamalpur village of Rosa and resident of Khirni Bagh of Sadar Bazar, Rizwan son of Musheer. The young man who is injured is identified as Shanu son of Rafiq. he is undergoing treatment in the district hospital.
SP City Dinesh Tripathi, CO Mahendrapal Singh examined the spot on the information. The force has been deployed at the spot due to the tension. The district hospital has also been converted into a camp.
Inspector of Sadar Bazar, Kiranpal told that a person named Sonu Gupta has been arrested with a gun. There are many cases registered on the deceased Gyandev. Almost 15 days ago, he came out on bail from prison.
